In 1999, Donnellan Ultraviolet, LLC (DUV) starting manufacturing ultraviolet "UV" lamp disinfection equipment out of a garage shop in Bogota NJ.
From these humble beginnings, the company quickly grew and received attention when we were named to 2004 Inc. 500 List of Fastest Growing Companies and in 2005, when Adam Donnellan was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year finalist.
In 2007, Siemens Water Technologies acquired Sunlight Systems and integrated the technology into their global supply chain, invested in biological validations and comprehensive electrical and mechanical system re-engineering.
On July 31, 2011, Donnellan UV executed an agreement with Siemens and re-acquired the rights to the Siemens/Sunlight products. This included inventory, mechanical drawings and system validations for their municipal wastewater products - ETV verification documents for horizontal and vertical equipment and validations for various waste and clean water chambers.
This allowed Siemens to honor warranties and provide support for the product's life time and also allowed Donnellan UV to re-enter the UV market with the required installations and validations needed to compete in the municipal market.
Due to contract, the Siemens/Sunlight brand names were phased out. The model numbers remain the identifying naming conventions.
Starting 2020, water and wastewater systems are currently being marketed through UVSYSCO LLC. info@uvsysco.com
