Our first open channel system that we launched in 2000 integrated low pressure high output UV lamps. This system was biologically validated in 2009 by Siemens at the Johnstown NY UV validation system by HydroQual (HDR). Validation used MS-2, QBeta and T1 and is available to engineers.

The 60" version of the amalgam 48 lamp system was validated in 2009. This validation was provided to the Brockton MA wastewater plant for their 60 MGD system.

Our first vertical systems were installed in 2001. In 2003, we installed the first vertical amalgam system in Erie, Colorado. Our 30" vertical amalgam was designed to provide facilities that had lower water levels and wanted to use a vertical. The normal 60" water level is sometimes a barrier to entry. While a niche system, Siemens validated this unit as a solution for particular installations.

The V-40R-A150 is a validated 40 lamp amalgam vertical UV wastewater disinfection system.

Confidential documents are available for engineers, regulators and facility management for system design. The data in these documents in confidential and should not be published or disseminated. Many municipalities scan all documentation for their files. We have discovered that confidential bioassay information is sometimes included in these searchable online depositories.
